NHLSA Young Surveyors Committee (YSC)

Building community, leadership, and opportunity for the next generation of surveyors.

The NHLSA Young Surveyors Committee (YSC) supports young professionals and emerging leaders within the land surveying profession across New Hampshire. Through networking events, educational programming, and leadership opportunities, we help early-career surveyors grow their skills, expand their professional connections, and stay engaged in the future of the profession.

Our Mission

The Young Surveyors Committee exists to connect, support, and develop young surveyors by providing meaningful professional development opportunities, fostering community, and strengthening the future of land surveying in New Hampshire.

What We Do

  • Host monthly networking and educational events across New Hampshire
  • Feature experienced professionals and guest speakers
  • Encourage mentorship and peer-to-peer learning
  • Support licensure, career growth, and leadership development
  • Create opportunities for involvement within NHLSA
  • Promote the surveying profession to students and emerging professionals
  • Attend NSPS National events - 2 Young surveyors are sent to volunteer at the student competition typically held in Washington D.C.

Our events rotate throughout the state to improve accessibility for surveyors in all regions.
